Associated Builders and Contractors Greater Michigan Celebrates Trifecta of Wins and Member Anniversaries At Founders Dinner.
Midland, Michigan, November 2019 – ABC Greater Michigan Chapter held its annual Founders Dinner on November 1st at the H Hotel.
ABC Greater Michigan Chapter honored 5 critical people as the
“Champions of ABC’s Trifecta” who received a full induction into ABC’s
hall of fame. Those gentlemen were Arlan Meekoff (former Senate Majority
Leader), Chris Fisher (former ABC Michigan CEO), Kevin Cotter & Tom
Leonard (both former Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives),
and of course Bill Schuette (former Michigan Attorney General). All
five are responsible for ABC’s trifecta of wins of prevailing wage,
PLA’s and Right to Work!

The night was filled with ABC spirit and provided our group a chance to celebrate its members and the wins ABC has tried so hard to keep. “We all stand on the shoulders of giants and giants these legislative leaders have been for years on behalf of Associated Builders & Contractors & Merit Shop. It’s humbling to recognize and reward them,” said ABC Greater Michigan Chapter CEO & President, Jimmy Greene.
