Lansing, Mich.
- Dan Murphy, President of MAG Insulation of Auburn, Michigan, will serve as Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan's (ABC) board chair for 2015, following his election by his fellow Board of Directors members on January 16,
2015. Mike Houseman, president of Wolverine North America of Grand Rapids, will serve as board vice chair.

"We are excited to have Dan at the helm as we look forward to an exciting year for the construction industry in Michigan," said Chris Fisher, ABC of Michigan president and CEO. "Our statewide contracting membership is seeing growth, and we anticipate increasing possibility and expansion. Our board's vision is for continued opportunity and spreading the message of the Merit Shop - the belief that every company has the right to bid and be awarded contracts based solely upon the merit of their work, and NOT on their affiliation with labor organizations."

ABC of Michigan is a statewide trade association representing the commercial and industrial construction industries. Dedicated to open competition, equal opportunity and accountability in construction, ABC members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically, profitably and for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work.

"I look forward to serving the construction industry in Michigan, and having the opportunity to be even more involved in this association of like-minded businesses," said Murphy.
