Greater Michigan Construction Academy (GMCA) is excited to offer an Accelerated Advanced Instrumentation Training May – August 2014.

Due to the demand of local industry, GMCA has collaborated with The Dow Chemical Company, Dow Corning, Hemlock Semiconductor and Michigan Sugar to design module based training for Instrument Technicians.  Under their direction the program has been accelerated to meet the changing needs for the industry of the Great Lakes Bay Region.

We offer comprehensive knowledge based training as well as hands-on training based on curriculum objectives.  Modules are designed in 8 hour to 40 hour modules which include:

Advanced Plant Process Science
Advanced Control Theory & SIS
Advanced Electronic Instruments
Advanced Valves
Advanced Pressure
Advanced Level
Advanced Temperature
Advanced Flow

The program begins with the first module running May 21, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Greater Michigan Construction Academy, 7730 W.
Wackerly Rd., Midland.
