Associated Builders and Contractors Greater Michigan Chapter Honors Members at Awards Dinner.

Lansing, Michigan, September 2018 –ABC Greater Michigan Chapter held its annual awards presentation event on Thursday, September 13th at the Kellog Center, downtown Lansing.  

The evening kicked off with a rousing keynote speech by Michigan Lieutenant Governor candidate Lisa Postumous Lyons!  Mrs Lyons who had recently lost her family home to a fire reminded the audience about the importance of elections and staying engaged and her presence was a great example of that!

Most of the results are in from yesterday’s primary election and the merit shop was a winner! Overall, ABC-endorsed state legislative candidates won 90% of their races, with only one known anti-merit shop candidate (UP State Senate Candidate Ed McBroom) winning. Read the rest of entry »

ABC Greater Michigan Chapter held its annual award presentation event on Thursday, September 7th at the H Hotel, downtown Midland. The chapter was proud to announce the member companies that won the 2017 Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Awards. STEP recognizes ABC member companies who consistently excel in the field of safety, but more importantly it provides an evaluation tool to help identify areas to improve a company’s safety program.

Three Rivers Corporation Selects John Lynch as next President

Jon Lynch will succeed Dan Kozakiewicz as president of the corporation effective May 8, 2017. Lynch will report to the board of directors, and Kozakiewicz will remain as chairman. Lynch was selected after a three-month search process with candidates from across the Midwest and parts of Canada.
